Artemis Education is pleased to announce its appointment as the Operator of Hay Al Sharooq International School (HASIS) in Sur, Oman, marking an important milestone in the continued growth and evolution of the group.
This appointment represents the first school within the Artemis family to join under an operating partnership model, demonstrating the strength of Artemis Education’s operational and educational expertise.
Owned by Oman LNG (OLNG), one of the Sultanate’s leading energy companies, HASIS has played a significant role in serving employees, families and the wider Sur community for many years.
Under the new partnership, OLNG will retain ownership of the school and continue to participate at Board and governance level, while Artemis Education assumes responsibility for the school’s day-to-day operation, educational development and strategic support with effect from the 2026/27 academic year.
The appointment follows more than two years of collaboration between Oman LNG, Oman Brunei Investment Company (OBIC) and Artemis Education. As part of that journey, Artemis undertook a comprehensive School Review in early 2026, providing the local team with a valuable opportunity to understand HASIS in greater depth.
This new partnership marks an important common ambition between all parties: to further strengthen educational quality and ensure HASIS continues to thrive as the leading school for families in Sur.
