Artemis Education Celebrates Major Growth Milestone Ahead of the 2026/27 Academic Year

Five schools, record staff recruitment, expanding campuses and growing student communities mark a landmark year for the international education group.

Artemis Education is celebrating a significant milestone ahead of the 2026/27 academic year, as the group expands to five schools across three countries and welcomes more than 3,000 students into its growing family of schools.

Marking a new chapter in the group’s development, student enrolment has increased by 37% year-on-year, supported by the largest recruitment drive in its history, with teacher and staff numbers increasing by 22% compared to the previous academic year.

The milestone year is marked by the opening of Jabal Al Ma’rifa School in Oman, the fifth school to join the Artemis Education family, further extending the group’s regional footprint and commitment to delivering world-class education across diverse international communities.

Since its founding, Artemis Education has pursued a clear vision: to design, build, open and operate exceptional schools that combine academic excellence, innovative learning environments and strong community values. As the group enters the new academic year, it does so with unprecedented momentum, driven by sustained enrolment growth, expanding facilities and continued investment in educational talent.

Across the group, teaching staff numbers have increased by 22%, ensuring that growth in student enrolment is matched by meaningful investment in classroom provision and educational quality. At the same time, support and administrative functions have been carefully scaled to maximise investment in teaching, learning and school leadership, reinforcing Artemis Education’s commitment to placing students at the centre of every decision.

This balanced approach to growth has enabled Artemis Education to expand its student community, teaching workforce and school capacity concurrently, whilst continuing to enhance the quality of education, operational effectiveness and overall family experience across its portfolio. As the group enters its next phase of development, its focus remains firmly on sustainable growth, educational excellence and creating exceptional learning environments where every child can thrive.
“This academic year represents an important moment in the Artemis Education journey,” said Niall Brennan, Artemis Education Founder & CEO “The opening of our fifth school, coupled with the growth we are seeing across every one of our campuses, reflects the trust families place in our schools and the dedication of our educators and staff. We are incredibly proud of how far we have come in a relatively short period of time and excited about what lies ahead.”

Continued Growth Across the Artemis Education Network
At Queen’s Qatar, the group’s flagship British curriculum school, the 2026/27 academic year marks the beginning of its third year of operation. Queen’s has experienced the most significant expansion, both in terms of teachers and students, as well as facilities. Student numbers have over doubled, reaching almost 1,000 students for Term 1, while staffing increases by 35% to accommodate for this growth.

Following this exceptional expansion, the school is now opening its dedicated Secondary building, significantly enhancing the student experience and creating new opportunities for academic, co-curricular and community development.

The expansion reflects both the strength of demand for the school and Artemis Education’s continued investment in delivering outstanding learning environments that grow alongside their student communities.

Meanwhile, ACS International School Doha, the group’s flagship IB World Continuum School has now reached 1,000 students with the school’s graduating cohort celebrating yet another set of excellent outcomes in this summer’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and High School Diploma results. The Class of 2026 secured more than 177 university offers from leading institutions across the globe, while also achieving the highest number of IB Diploma recipients in the school’s history, highlighting the strength of the academic programmes and personalised university guidance on offer. Graduates have received acceptances from prestigious institutions including the UK’s Russell Group and an array of top-tier universities across America, Canada and the Middle East. As graduates now finalise their university choices in the coming weeks, the school looks forward to celebrating another successful cohort embarking on the next stage of their educational journeys and joining the ACS Alumni ranks.

At Northview International School, Artemis Education’s founding school, student numbers will reach almost 800 this Semester. With the launch of Grade 10 this academic year marking a major milestone in the school’s development and officially inaugurating its High School Department. This expansion provides students with a seamless pathway through Secondary education while supporting the school’s long-term vision for continued and sustainable academic growth.

In Europe, The Lisboan International School enters its second year of operation with strong momentum, preparing to welcome a student body that will have grown by 50% this September. This demonstrates increasing demand for the school’s distinctive international offering and reflects its successful establishment within Lisbon’s educational landscape.

Expanding Experiences Beyond the Classroom
Artemis Education’s commitment to enriching student experiences extends beyond the classroom walls thanks to its ever-expanding ArtemEx programme, offering a huge variety of wrap-around care for both after school clubs, in sport and wider education as well as school holiday camps.

This summer, ArtemEx camps in both Qatar and Portugal delivered a wide range of premium learning and enrichment experiences for students. Summer camp enrolments in Qatar grew tenfold, rising from 60 signups last summer to almost 600 this summer, representing a 900% increase. While in Portugal, the summer programme expanded from a 2-week delivery in 2025 to 4 weeks in 2026, with enrolments increasing by 71% year on year, from 38 to 65 students.

Meanwhile, the ever-popular Artemex Co-Curricular (after school) club attendance tripled from 700 in the 24/25 academic year to 2,100 in the 25/26 academic year, representing a 200% year-on-year increase.

This fantastic demand, has offered an excellent opportunity to launch Artemex in Oman this September at Jabal Al Ma’rifa International School, with the introduction of the headline “Super Minis” programme.

This growth underscores the growing appetite among families for high-quality educational and enrichment programmes to complement the first-class education on offer at Artemis schools.

Looking Ahead
As a new academic year begins across the Artemis Education family, the group reflects on a period of remarkable growth, achievement and community building.

While the expansion of its schools, students and staff marks an important milestone, Artemis Education remains committed to ensuring that quality, culture and student experience remain at the heart of every decision, reinforcing its position as a school group with a difference.

Chief Delivery Officer, Tom Lloyd Owen added “While we are proud of the growth reflected in new campuses, new schools and increasing enrolment, our greatest achievement continues to be the vibrant communities that make our schools so special. Every teacher recruited, every student welcomed and every family that joins us contributes to the culture of excellence that defines Artemis Education. As we look ahead to the new academic year, we are excited to continue creating opportunities that inspire curiosity, unlock potential and prepare young people to thrive in an ever-changing world.”

Chief Operating Officer, Dave Taylor, added: “Growth is something to celebrate, but at Artemis the real measure of success is what that growth means for the people and students in our schools. More students means more families placing their trust in us, more colleagues joining our teams and a greater responsibility to make sure the experience we provide gets better as we grow.

As Artemis has grown, we’ve also been able to give the communities we operate in more choice and better value, whether that’s through different schools and curricula or the experiences we offer beyond the classroom through ArtemEx.

That has been a big focus for us – building the teams and systems that allow our schools to grow without losing what makes each community special. Sustainable growth isn’t simply about becoming bigger; it’s about learning as we grow and using that learning to keep getting better for our students.”

As the Artemis Education family continues to grow, its focus remains unwavering: empowering students through exceptional teaching, nurturing thriving school communities, and delivering educational experiences that create lasting impact.

With a clear vision, strong foundations and an unwavering commitment to educational excellence, Artemis Education enters the 2026/27 academic year ready to strengthen its existing portfolio, support its growing communities and continue shaping exceptional learning journeys for students across the globe.
