Simon Truran is a CIMA Qualified Accountant, with experience in facilitating change across people, processes and systems to restructure and transform financial operations in delivering sustainable improvements. Simon, as Group Financial Controller of Aldar Education oversaw the integration of newly acquired Operated Schools and the Commercial operations of Managed Schools including the set-up of Schools previously run by the UAE Ministry of Education, as well as the implementation of a new ERP System and the recruitment and development of both School and HO based Finance staff. Simon focused on the improvement of Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting processes within the Managed Schools Clusters as well as process improvements to assist the growth and governance of Aldar’s Schools.
