Tom has started and run businesses all over the world and brings a huge amount of operational experience as well as a deep knowledge of project and complex programme management. Having led the day to day running of Artemis Education as it grew from a start up employing a team of 6 to become one of the most exciting international school operators with dual headquarters between Qatar and Portugal and seven schools in operation or under construction in Qatar, Portugal and Oman and a remarkable capacity for 10,000 students and over 800 staff. Tom has recently moved to an exciting new role as Chief Delivery Officer where he is able to really focus on delivering our new businesses, buildings, projects and products across the whole Artemis Education eco-system.
Previous to building businesses and education facilities in the Middle East and Europe, his experience was focused on running corporate operations and delivering complex projects on time and on budget. After seven years in the British Army and three years as a Ship Broker, Tom went on to co-found a successful events company in London overseeing the rapid growth from start-up to an award-winning business before moving to Qatar to expand his experience internationally.
In his spare time Tom is lucky enough to co drive for the rally team Guincho Racing, who took part in the original Dakar rally route as part of Africa Eco Race in January 2026 and will be competing around Europe rallies in the coming months.
